The fall is my favorite time to visit Ojai, CA. The weather is still warm enough to go to the pool, but the leaves are turning orange and there are pumpkins and other festive decorations everywhere, so it feels cozy. There are a bunch of cute places to shop and eat in downtown Ojai. Having just spent a few days there, I thought November’s picks of the month should be inspired by the town. So please enjoy this month’s Ojai inspired gift ideas.
We have a pretty good routine going whenever we visit. We should probably mix it up once in a while, but our favorites are the favorites for a reason, so it is tough to branch out sometimes. Ojai visits usually always have these three things: stay at Ojai Valley Inn, wine taste at Topa Mountain Winery, and eat dinner at Nocciola. However, this visit, I spent more time wandering around town looking for gifting inspiration. It made me want to move to Ojai.
Ojai local produce, wine, olive oil and cute boutiques are where it’s at. It is the perfect place to stock up on some holiday shopping.
Some of my Ojai-local or Ojai-inspired gift ideas:
- Ojai Olive Oil Company olive oils.
- Caroline’s Marmalades & Jams – try the peach rose.
- The Ojai Vineyard Syrah.
- Etú Home cutting boards.
- Modern Sprout Herb Grow Kits.
- Ojai Spice Co spices – I linked a gift set.
- Heavenly Honey honey and tea.
- Ojai Lavender Farms lavender sachets and lotion.
Not pictured is the Bloody Mary Mix from Jimmy’s Pub. I’m kind of a Bloody Mary snob. I like to make my own, and I like it with pickles. This is my favorite place to order a Bloody Mary. They sell the Jimmy’s mix at Libbey’s in OVI, and it is worth picking up a bottle.
I hope my Ojai inspired gift ideas have given you some fun inspiration for your early holiday gift shopping. Comment below if you tried any of my recommendations!
