It is the busiest time of year for holiday shopping and sales. I wanted to take this opportunity to showcase the small businesses I shop from and I think you should check out this season. I’ve explained who they are and why I love them below. Please enjoy these suggestions and shop small during this holiday season!
Lola & Dunelly
Lola and Dunelly is a women-owned custom gift company that designs the most beautiful gifts. You can choose from their curated gift boxes or just shop from their marketplace to find what you like. Highly recommend!
Audry rose Jewelry
Audry Rose Jewelry carries a thoughtfully curated selection of unique fine jewelry meant to last throught he generations. Pick something up here and it is for sure to be a family heirloom that will last through generations, and always be in style.
Lavender Thorne
Lavender Thorne makes all natural health products at great prices for home, baby, face, body, hair, and wellness. Their products smell delicious and are free from harmful chemicals. You can also buy these in gift sets for the holidays.
Con Alma
Con Alma is a POC family owned business that carries lifestyle products to promote mindful living. They have gifts for home, beauty, accessories, and really adorable stationary. I love all of the brands they carry, and they also have cute gift wrapping options for the holidays.
Cuccio Somatology
Cuccio Somatology is no stranger to this blog. They were a featured business earlier this year. I love their wellness products, especially the lotions and after workout wipes.
Voyage Et Cie
Voyage Et Cie offers 100% organic and natural fragrance products developed by their owner. Their scented candles and perfumes are so delightful, with a philosophy driven by the connection between identity and scent. I found them because of the scent of one of their candles at a hotel I was staying at earlier this year, and I can’t get enough.
Hayden B. Jewelry
Hayden B. Jewelry specializes in minimalist jewelry meant for every-day wear. They have great price points without sacrificing quality. Their jewelry is designed and made locally in Los Angeles.
Santa Barbara apothecary Co
Santa Barbara Apothecary Co. offers my long-time favorite scented candles that I purchase every year. They are female-owned and local to Santa Barbara, CA. The Fig + State and Goodland Grapefruit scents are a must!
Stephanie Dawn Matthias
I featured Stephanie Dawn Matthias’ work in my Home Decor Gift Ideas post because she creates the most beautiful unique ceramics. I want all of her work in my house, and I think her pieces would make exceptional holiday gifts for the home.
Other Honorable Mentions
There are so many small businesses I would recommend checking out. This was just a sampling of some of my favorites. I wanted to mention a few more –
Solai the Label (super cute beach and loungewear), Palisades Canyon (former featured business with great selection of custom gift boxes), Bodewell Living (delightful clean nontoxic candles), Amer NYC (beautiful jewelry studio based in Brooklyn, NY), Amanda Michelle Jewelry (female-owned hand made jewelry – I love her Amelia earrings), Little Worm Studio (former featured business with hand made trays and dishes), Lili Claspe (cute and trendy jewelry at affordable price points), and Hadley & Ren (dried flower arrangements). Some of these are featured on the small business page of my holiday gift guide here.
I hope you found a new small business to check out this holiday season. Enjoy!
