Summer is my absolute favorite time of year. I count down the days until it is here. Since summer is officially in full swing, it is only fitting for me to kick off picks of the month with all summer-themed gift ideas for your summer birthdays, bbq’s, and everything in between. Bubbles never disappoint. Especially in the summer. My favorite right now is Rosy Bubbles from Woodstock Wines. Skincare is fun in the summer because it is geared toward being refreshing and minimalistic. Some options that are great on their own or as part of a summer-themed gift box – The Herbivore AfterSun spray is so nice and soothing if you’ve caught too many rays. Their Rose Hibiscus Spray is also my favorite and something I stick in gift boxes. I use it to set makeup. Weezie towels are great for removing makeup and sunscreen and you can customize the graphic on the towel. I also love Kai and Sunday Forever fragrances (the Sunday Forever coconut scent smells like a vacation). Osea & C and the Moon also have fantastic products.
I think candles still work for summer gifts. They can be lovely at night, especially when the fragrance is floral or citrusy. I’m burning Malibu Apothecary’s Wailea scented candle all summer. It reminds me of summer family vacations when I was a kid (actual pic from Wailea below) so the smell is nostalgic.
If you want a really fancy summer-themed skincare gift, buy the cryosticks from Biologique Recherche. OMG. I had a facial with these when I was on my honeymoon and it was the most relaxing thing I have ever experienced. They also remove any puffiness or swelling from too much sun. You can use them over face masks as well as directly on your face. These are luxurious, which makes them a great gift!
